This is the seventh revision release for Deadline 10.0. It fixes a few bugs that have been reported during the 10.0 release cycle and adds some minor improvements, including support for After Effects CC 2018, Media Encoder CC 2018, and Eddy for Nuke. Draft has also been upgraded version 1.6.8. This release also includes a security fix for the AWS Portal Asset Server. More information about this fix can be found in this Security Notice.
The center of your pipeline:
AWS Thinkbox Deadline is a hassle-free hybrid administration and compute management toolkit for Windows, Linux, and mac OS based render farms, supporting more than 80 different content creation applications out of the box. Deadline provides flexibility and a wide range of compute management options, giving you the freedom to easily access any combination of on-premises or cloud-based resources for your rendering and processing needs.
Smart render management:
Deadline integrates with AWS using AWS Portal, a collective set of Deadline features that enables you to more easily extend your on-premises rendering to AWS. Once your rendering pipeline is integrated with AWS, you can scale rendering workloads to hundreds, or even thousands of cores in minutes, and you can also scale down just as quickly, providing incredible compute elasticity and cost control.
Optimize your on-premises farm:
Optimize your compute resources with Deadline. Save time and money by launching multiple instances or running concurrent tasks, as well as effectively managing your power consumption by shutting down render nodes that are not in use.
Get more rendering capacity by seamlessly adding the compute from idle workstations to your farm and get the most from your studio hardware with a robust render manager to best utilize your existing compute resources.
Scale your studio:
Deadline integrates with AWS to provide you with the flexibility to seamlessly extend your compute capacity to the cloud, regardless of your current render farm setup.
Scaling to AWS provides you with incredible compute elasticity, cost control, and the confidence that your renders will be completed on time. You can also purchase flexible third-party licenses for cloud nodes which assist in cost-effective burst rendering - 24/7 - through the AWS Thinkbox Marketplace.System Requirements:

This release adds support for Altus 2 and LightWave 2018/2019. It also includes many minor improvements and bug fixes.
-If the Repository installer is canceled during an upgrade, any existing files that were overwritten will be restored.
-Fixed an issue that prevented the Repository installer from installing a script required by the Deadline Mobile application.
-Fixed an error that could occur when connecting to a database that's using a Replica Set.
-Fixed an issue that could cause the Deadline Client applications to not clean up their memory usage on Windows.
AWS Portal Improvements:
-Fixed bug that could prevent the listing of all available AMI types in a region.
-When rendering with Arnold for Maya, TX textures can now be pre-cached.
-Improved the messaging when errors occur during the Asset Pre-caching step.
-The Asset Server now writes in-progress downloads to a temporary file with its name based on the file being downloaded, instead of a random filename.
-Added log file rotation to the Asset Server. The log file is now rotated daily, and logs are kept for 30 days.
-Fixed an issue in the Asset Server when reading files on render nodes. This issue could lead to errors such as "Access Violation" when rendering with 3ds Max.
-Fixed an issue that prevented the deletion of a failed Infrastructure if the Gateway instance did not exist.
-When the Job list filter is set to only show jobs from "me", new users that are added to Deadline no longer show up.
-The Slave now logs the Limits that are currently assigned to the job it's rendering.
-Fixed a case-sensitivity issue with Limit names that could cause the Slave to print warnings about missing Limits that actually exist.
-Fixed a regression introduced in 10.0.24 that incorrectly prioritized secondary pools.
License Forwarder Improvements:
-The License Forwarder logs can now be streamed to the Deadline Monitor.
Remote Connection Server Improvements:
-Improved messaging when an error occurs while responding to a request from one of the other Deadline applications.
-Reduced the amount of calls to the database when searching for a job to render for a Deadline Slave.
Application Plugin Improvements:
-Added support for Altus 2.
-Added a sanity check to the integrated submitter that displays a warning if the scene isn't saving output, or if the output path isn't specified.
-Progress reporting is now supported when rendering Wedge nodes.
-Fixed some issues that prevented the integrated submitter from working in Katana 3.1.
-Added support for LightWave 2018 and 2019.
-vrscene files can now be selected as input files when submitting to Deadline.
-When rendering with Arnold 3 for Maya, the default verbosity is set to display Info. This allows Deadline to display the progress of the render.
-The "Export Preset Name" option now supports names with spaces in them.
-Fixed a bug where tile rendering single frame (non-animation) jobs would append frame padding to the tile render outputs, preventing them being assembled. I.e. Tile rendering for V-Ray standalone for single frame (non-animation) jobs will no longer fail.
Event Plugin Improvements:
-The "Concurrent Tasks" setting for jobs is now taken into account when determining targets for Spot Fleet Requests.
